Bienvenue au Canada Noir et Queer. Ces modalités et conditions établissent les règles de participation à nos événements et à notre communauté. En interagissant avec BQC, vous acceptez de respecter nos directives et de valoriser nos valeurs communautaires.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register for participation or engagement with Black Queer Canada (BQC) programs and events.

  • Individuals under 18 may participate with parental or guardian consent.

  • Registrations and accounts are personal and non-transferable.

2. Participation Terms

  • Event or program fees, if applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Participation can be canceled or modified according to the policies provided at the time of registration or as updated by BQC.

  • Disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of community guidelines may result in removal from events or restriction of access.

3. Event & Program Bookings

  • Please register for events, workshops, or programs in advance through the BQC website or designated platforms.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to restrictions or penalties as outlined in our booking policy.

4. Facilitator & Volunteer Engagement

  • Opportunities for facilitation, volunteering, or leadership are subject to availability and BQC’s selection process.

  • Late arrivals or missed commitments may affect future participation opportunities.

5. Community Safety & Wellbeing

  • All participants are expected to respect the safety, privacy, and dignity of others.

  • BQC is not responsible for injuries or issues arising from failure to follow event guidelines or facilitator instructions.

6. Access to Programs & Resources

  • Access to events, programs, and resources is granted to registered participants and community members in good standing.

  • BQC reserves the right to adjust event times, close access for maintenance, or limit participation as needed.

7. Payment & Billing

  • Payment for fee-based programs or events must be made according to the selected plan or agreement.

  • Automatic renewal may apply for recurring programs unless canceled prior to the billing date.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the BQC website, event materials, and communications are the property of Black Queer Canada.

  • Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • BQC is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during events or programs.

  • Participation in BQC events and activities is at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

  • BQC may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
